Mike’s Bikes Program Director | Job Description

Position Overview

The Mike’s Bikes Program Director leads the Mike’s Bikes program within the Inspiring Children Foundation. This person is responsible for its year-round strategy, participant experience, partnerships, operations, and long-term growth.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Coordinates program staff, mentors, volunteers, and community partners.

  • Collaborates with the hired event producer for annual rides while remaining focused on the year-round program.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and ongoing development of Mike’s Bikes.

  • Design and oversee programming that supports the Foundation’s mission.

  • Recruit, support, and maintain relationships with participants and families.

  • Coordinate program staff, mentors, volunteers, and community partners.

  • Develop and manage the program calendar, budget, and resources.

  • Establish safety standards and participant procedures.

  • Track participation, outcomes, and the program’s community impact.

  • Collect participant stories, feedback, and success measures.

  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and expansion.

  • Represent Mike’s Bikes within the Inspiring Children Foundation.

  • Provide program goals, content, and participant needs to the event producer.

  • Collaborate with the hired event producer for annual rides while remaining focused on the year-round program.
