Inspiring Children Foundation’s Not Alone Program

Presented by Dr. George Rapier III and powered by the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation, the Not Alone Program represents a transformational approach to emotional and mental health, one that unites the credibility of science, the reach of culture, and the heart of human connection.

This initiative brings together the nation’s leading minds, thought leaders, and institutions to design, advocate for, and implement a national mental health system that is effective, inclusive, and accessible to all.

Through the Not Alone Challenge, Tools & Curriculum, Summit, Awards, and Auction, the program works to ensure that every person, regardless of circumstance, has access to care, community, and tools to live a full, healthy, and connected life, and to remind everyone that they are, truly, not alone.

About the Not Alone Program

Developed by the Inspiring Children Foundation (ICF), the Not Alone Program is a national emotional and mental health platform built in collaboration with visionary partners, including Jewel, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and mental health advocate, Dr. George Rapier III and Villa Bibbiani, the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation, and iHeartRadio.

Together, this coalition of leaders, nonprofits, clinicians, researchers, philanthropists, artists, storytellers, and policymakers shares a common purpose, to co-create a more effective and compassionate national mental health ecosystem.

A Movement That’s Evolving

What began as NotAloneChallenge.org, a viral campaign featuring hundreds of thought leaders, artists, and influencers, has grown into a multi-tiered national initiative, including:

  • The Not Alone Tools & Curriculum

  • The Not Alone Dinner Series

  • The Not Alone Summit

  • The Not Alone Awards Show, streamed on iHeartRadio

  • The Not Alone Auction

Each component reflects the same powerful commitment, uniting leaders across every sector to transform mental health, foster human connection, and remind the world that we are all not alone.

The Not Alone Challenge is a national campaign that makes emotional well-being accessible and relatable by bringing together celebrities, thought leaders, athletes, musicians, founders, CEOs, experts, nonprofits, and corporations. It uses social media, new media, and national press to remind people they are not alone, especially during the holidays and Mental Health Month.

To date, the Challenge has reached 3.8 billion social media impressions and over 900 million media impressions, making it the widest-reaching mental health campaign in history.

Hundreds of major influencers have united to normalize conversations, inspire healing, and provide free tools through NotAloneChallenge.org.

Thanks to Dr. George Rapier III, ICF has been able to take its best practices and curriculum developed over 25 years, including its 10 pillars of healing, growth, and high-performance living, and begin transforming them into a set of tools and products.

These resources are becoming more readily available both online and in person for individuals and organizations who wish to incorporate social, emotional, and mental health into their lives and workplaces.

The #NotAlone Dinner Series is a collection of dinners that are often paired with high-profile events. Dinners take place at lavish venues in destination cities, hosted by accomplished thought leaders. Each dinner has a musical performance by a renowned artist, and includes intimate mental health programming.

Through the #NotAlone Dinner Series, the Foundation’s notable mental health ambassadors and partners are helping create spectacular dinners throughout the year to support our mission of democratizing wellness and providing mental health support for those in need.
