The scholarship and grant program has a volunteer element where we invite you to contribute to our organization's mission as part of this grant process through volunteering or in what ever way you can. Our philosophy is that we are most empowered when we give to our community and have a personal participation in the organization and community we are a part of. While some people can donate money, others can donate time or resources.
We encourage our partner organizations, families and individuals to enjoy the confidence and joy in earning opportunities and participating in the organization's volunteer and giving mission. To be eligible for grants, organizations, families and individuals have to demonstrate an earnest effort to give back to our organization's nonprofit mission to help others.
This philosophy empowers stakeholders, develops skillsets and relationships, and instills a greater sense of empathy and appreciation for others.
What community service or volunteering do you do, or plan to do in the future for our 501(c)(3) charity or the community at large? How many hours per week, or per month, will you do this? And how many months have you already been doing this?
We take into account all aspects of a person's situation, volunteering and attitude. Each situation is unique and will be evaluated as such. However, one's attitude and co tribute on to our mission and volunteer program will always play a significant role in the decision process.
Preference may be given to players that are active in foundation programs, such as volunteering, the internship, apprenticeship and the overall support of the mission.
Describe in length your experience at this event. Including who you played, your perspective and your scores.
