Selena Williams

ICF Alum

Selena Williams is a proud Inspiring Children Foundation alumna passionate about developing technology to empower mental health in novel ways. She recently began working at NVIDIA as an AI/ML Engineer after graduating from Brown University in May.

As a teen, Selena struggled with anxiety, an eating disorder, and suicidal ideation. She credits the Foundation for helping her heal and develop healthy relationships with herself, her family, and life itself. Through ICF's mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and mentorship programs, she learned how to open up, have patience and self-compassion, and respond in a loving way to difficult feelings and situations. Because of the impact of mentors and the joy she has experienced on the other side, she is extremely passionate about helping others to heal and grow. She did this throughout college as a wellness peer educator, events coordinator, and health robotics researcher. Being a nerd at heart with a decade-long interest in AI, she spends her time finding ways that technology can be used to empower health, healing, connection, and well-being.
